If they have been treated with their mental disorder with the help of a psychologist or therapist they are taught tools to better understand their emotions which can translate to the people in their lives. Which means they can be more responsive and have empathy for the people in their lives. Helping with a more balanced and caring relationship. A romantic relationship is a 50/50 commitment. This hormone is also called the happy hormone. This hormone is also released when someone is by a person they consider their friend or even making eye contact with a stranger. The hormone is stronger if you have created a bond with someone. Also, being by a close friend helps regulate the persons nervous system creating a sense of belonging as well being apart of a pack. We have a part of us that is always in survival mode. One way to survive is by surrounding yourself with people you trust. Friends are safer than strangers. In the olden days when cavemen were a thing survival was important, it still is today but not the extent as it was. Today is it important to find people that will not judge us and to find some place we belong in another person. The reason bullying is so hard of us is not because words hurt but the feeling of being ostracized by people makes us feel like we do not belong and makes us feel unsafe from the world around us. Typically, we all have certain friends that we tell certain things too. So for having a person all those people are in one person. That person knows everything about you and them making them more perceptive of their person and how they are acting and their mood changes. It is not important to have a person it is just an added
