I. PLAN OF INVESTIGATION
Civil Rights were rights guaranteed by the bill of rights, and the rights of citizens to political, social equality and social freedom. The rights were also established by the 13th and 14th amendments. There were so many civil rights leaders in history. Civil rights leaders wanted to get their message across the nation fast. Media was one of the ways that helped get their message across the nation. Media can be associated with so many things. Media could be a newspaper or a magazine. Media could also be a television or a radio. Media had a huge impact on the whole civil rights movement in so many different ways. The media helped develop Civil Rights in the United States by allowing people to view discrimination first hand, and attracted people to the Civil Rights Movement.
In my essay I will be focusing on answering the main essential question. I will be writing about some background information on how the television came about and the radio. I also will be covering the newspaper and how it provided a lot of information to the citizens at the time before the news and radio came about. Then I will go into way more detail of the media especially the newspaper, radio, and television. I will be providing info in chronological order. Later on in my research paper I will be evaluating the four sources I used to get my information, telling rather they used bias and assumptions. Then lastly I will be covering why I think my topic is important using logos and closing my paper off with a conclusion and restating my thesis.

... newspaper had first came around and that was on the first ways to read about information. Then we have the radio on the other hand to where we can listen and hear the news and important information in their cars and at home. So people could basically hear the news wherever they went. Having the radio in your car could be a plus and people would automatically be attracted to what was being said in their cars. Lastly we have the tv which had attracted people to discrimination first hand in their homes. Having all these different types of media had helped discrimination because people could see or hear it first hand at home or on the go. Media influenced the civil rights and caught people's eye so therefore more people knew about it and the people in office were more likely to make a change faster to if the discrimination and civil rights wasn't in the media.
