Students in high school often ask themselves if the learning they are taught will ever be used. Well, it does. This paper shows evidence of my competency in academics and meeting personal obligations, how mastering core academics helps future teachers and their students, and the responsibilities students have in school and out of school.

This paragraph verifies on a personal level of core academics I have mastered. Core academics are the classes students need to take and pass in high school to move on to college. These classes include math, English, science, and social studies. One way students can prove their academic success through report cards, showing that students have passed a class, transcripts show students passed a class, and other statewide tests like ACT, SAT, and OGT to show students they know the material and are ready to move on to college. The picture on the next page shows a student high school transcript. The transcript shows all the classes the student has passed so far to make their way to college. I am on an IEP in the case I get other progress reports and goals I need to improve on. Since students need to pass these classes to get to college puts more stress on students. One way passing core academics helps future teachers is that they know the information they are teaching. Another way that mastering core academics impacts future teachers is they figure out how to adjust to suit different types of learners. This impacts students by giving students different ways to learn to help achievement.
