Term Paper Influential Figures have the ability of a leader to provoke action in others simply through mastering the intelligence and skills of exchanging information to motivate and inspire other individual people. Influential figures such as Martin Luther, Christopher Columbus, Queen Elizabeth, Benjamin Franklin, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Louis XIV, and Leonardo Da Vinci are very important people of history and it can be argued that they are the most influential figures in the history of the world. Martin Luther is one of the most influential figures in history. Martin Luther's disagreement with the church using his 95 theses is a well known and eminent way of how he is influential. In his 95 theses Luther attacks the churches corruptness and describes the church as being dishonorable in charging their people money to be relieved of their sins. His writings in the 95 theses were also responsible for the establishment of the the Protestant Reformation. Luther concluded that christian belief is based on the word of god and faith as he stated “...the merciful God justifies us by faith”.As a result of the reformation Luther created choice for people. Franklin was an inventor, scientist, diplomat, and writer. He was a major figure in the Enlightenment and the history of America. In addition to being best known as one of the Founding Fathers of our country, the United States of America. His discoveries and theories as an inventor have influenced not only the people around him but society as a whole.
