Love at first sight is not real, and it can lead to bad decisions.
In Romeo and Juliet, they think they're in love the first time they meet. A summary of their tragic love story “...fatal loins of these two foes a pair of star-crossed lovers take their life whose misadventured piteous overthrows doth with their death bury their parents' strife.The fearful passage of their death-marked love and the continuance of their parents' rage which but their children’s end”(prologue of R and J). What they fail to realize is that its two kids were talking about, they don't know what love is. They don't understand what they feel for each other. They wanted or they had an obsession with each other which made Romeo want to get as close to Juliet as possible. Like in act 1 scene 5 when Romeo said “ Did my Heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night”. This shows Romeo wants Roseline and now Juliet because of their beauty with a lust of sexual gratification and an obsession of physical attraction.

Romeo and Juliet are not truly in love, for their minds are clouded by lust and an obsession with physical attraction. “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night ( act 1 scene 5). That quote shows that it's not true love, Romeo just saw her and based off her beauty he loves her, but that's not love. It's an obsession for her beauty and lust with and because the desire of physical attraction.
Someone you truly love, you value that person enough to see things from their perspective.
