In this essay I will describe to you who’s fault it was for the famous star-crossed lovers deaths. In this play, two people meet and fall instantly in love, and yet do not know that they are doomed for early death. This is the wonderful tale of Romeo and Juliet. This exciting play was written by none other than the famous William Shakespeare. Many different events lead to the deaths of two young lovers, but who’s to blame? Lord and Lady Capulet are the characters most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because they forced Juliet to hide her relationship with Romeo, they tried to force her into marrying Paris, and they did not go try to fix their feud with the Montagues at any time.

Although Romeo and Juliet had just gotten married, they did not dare tell the Lord and Lady. They decided to continue hiding their love and didn’t think of the consequences. Lord and Lady Capulet, not knowing of this new marriage, wanted to set up Juliet to marry someone of her status; Paris. When Lord Capulet heard Juliet’s cry to not marry paris he responds, “I tell thee what- get thee to church a Thursday or never after look me in the face. Speak not, reply not, do not answer me!” (Shakespeare 3.5.161-163). Lord Capulet now tells Juliet that she will be grateful and go to the church on Thursday to marry Paris or he does not want to see her ever again. He does not know of her love for Romeo and wants her to marry Paris, but Juliet does not want to be with anyone else except Romeo. A person’s family may influence them substantially as they grow, from young children to love-struck teenagers. These family members might do so unintentually, but bad traits will rub off just as often as good ones, so will opinions and ideas. Lord Capulet is a character in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet who tries to make the best out of bad situations, but rarely succeeds and is coloured as quite a hypocrite. Responsibility for Romeo and Juliet's Deaths There is much controversy to who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, a number of things and people could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. But who is responsible for their deaths? Even before the play begins the grudge between the Capulet and Montague families has begun. Because of this, it becomes imminent that one thing or event will start off a sequence of incidents that will end in tragedy. The on-going feud between the Montague and Capulet families could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, because if their was no feud between these families then Romeo and Juliet would have been able to have a safe normal relationship in which their family would have agreed to.
Although there are many factors to the tragedy of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, some are greater than others. The major contributor to the downfall of these lovers was Capulet, Juliet's own father. He brought upon the death of Juliet by forcing her to marry Paris, separating her from her Romeo, and rejecting her.

Romeo thinks she's dead and drinks poison to kill himself. Juliet wakes up to see him dead and she then kills herself with his dagger. But who's to blame for the death of Juliet and Romeo? There's Capulet, Juliet's father, who pushed her to marry someone she didn't want to. There's also her mother, Lady Capulet, who ignores Juliet and doesn't listen to her. Then there is Friar Lawrence

People resort to blame someone else so that they don’t have to admit that they weren’t being responsible. Both Capulet and Montague blame each other for the deaths of their family members. From the beginning of the play of Romeo and Juliet Capulet tries to protect his daughter when Paris asks for Juliet’s hand in marriage, knowing of what damage there could come from this marriage. Capulet new his daughter was still young and not completely ready to marry. Yet a few days later Paris asks for her hand again, Capulet knowing his daughter was still mourning her cousin’s recent death thinks a quick marriage would help her to overcome her sorrow. Capulet, ignorant of Juliet’s wants tells her of her arranged marriage in three days. Contrarily, if it was not for the unintentional influence of the pugnacious Tybalt, the star-crossed lovers may have remained together, perpetually. To the audience, the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are already understood, for it is a Shakespearean tragedy. However, the causes, predominantly Romeo’s and Juliet’s fatal flaw of impulsivity and rashness, are as simple as Shakespearean writing. Though Romeo and Juliet are wholly to blame for their tragic suicides, in Act V scene iii, Tybalt is, in turn, responsible, as his combative spirit forced Romeo to murder him and Juliet to marry Paris.
