As a young designer I am creating accessories from local material such as Green stone and leather that are eco friendly and ethically produced to create an opportunity for local artisan and resilience community business. I believe this will support the local to help preserve and keep alive the traditional knowledge and integrity of the local artisans such as Maori carvers. This means that the local materials will not sent to overseas for mass production. This will help to avoid globalization and reduce carbon emission as well as create meaningful employment for the resilience communities. (320
