Recommended: Impact of stereotypes

I found the standard categorization methods section very intriguing while reading chapter 4. I did not know about the different categories ranging from A to E. I found this to be a good way to differentiate different social classes, but I feel as if you are stereotyping people. Some people who may be rich may be more frugal with their money and spend their money on cheaper goods, rather then more expensive items. This may lead advertisers into the wrong direction when deciding their target markets. The life stages categorization method also was a tricky one to analyze. It may overall be helpful because people in different life stages may be heading towards the same direction but in the end run, not everyone is. It can be hard to tell how people
