What comes to mind when you hear about the LGBTQ community? The LGBTQ community, (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer) is far from normal than most hetrosexuals, so why give them the same freedom and equality? Judging by how “famous” they’ve gotten while also having the right for gay marriage is as far as how much equality they’ll get and everyone, including the members of the LGBTQ community, will not mind at all and be happy with just having the rights for gay marriage and gaining some publicity. According to The Center for American Progress, they found that seventy-seven percent of LGB adults had health insurance and fifty-seven percent of transgender adults had health insurance. Members are saying how these issues deserve some attention judging by how trans people are being constantly abused, discriminated against, harassed, assaulted and even pushed them into attempting suicide. But there are also other people outside of the LGBTQ community that are being constantly harassed, assaulted, discriminated against and even attempted suicide. So we can agree that people of the LGBTQ community don’t have it so bad on them since there are other people going through the same issues. They might also say how kids that out of the forty percent of the homeless youth that identify as LGBT, and sixty-eight of those kids were kicked out of their families because of their sexual orientation or their gender identity, while fifty-four suffer abuse from their families. But there are hetrosexual kids that have issues at their homes too! They’ll be in situations in which will cause them to be grounded for a whole month, have their electronics taken away, or even have no TV for a week!
