A requirement in being an early childhood teacher, is to fulfill the needs, of the children and families I will work for. In chapter one, you have the Lawrence and Ashley Family. In the Lawrence family, they are a married couple, which means more income for the family. Whereas the Ashley family has one income. In addition, to the Ashley family, having one income and dealing with the state can bring heartache and struggles to buy food, clothes, housing, school supplies and other day to day activities. There needs to be a list of strategies for working families, so we can build partnership and learn about the family’s dynamics. One of a number of things, we need to understand families are busy and don’t have time for lots of meeting. without delay; I must tend to the matter here and now and to bring before. I wanted to introduce all of the elements, to bring in and establish in a new place or environment. 1. With technology so popular, we have the ability to have parent meeting over Skype or face time. Of course, a time schedule will be in place for the meeting. 2. Furthermore; this that can be helpful for families, is to have my own webpage of all the actives that we are doing. Additional; with parent’s consent pictures and videos will be loaded so parents can see what their kids are doing in class. Having a webpage can bring ease to all the parents, and it’s an easy look up from their computer or phone.
