Lady or the Tiger? It is a question many have pondered over for many years due to the fact that there is no definitive answer. The Lady and the Tiger was written by Frank R.Stockton It tells the story of a lover whom dared to love the princess and was cast away jail and then trial. But this trail is different to say the least and the prisoner hold their fate in their own hands. There are two door, behind one awaits a blood thirsty tiger and other a beautiful lady which is married to the person to whom opens the doors. The quote points out that she had nightmares of having her lover pick the door of the tiger and have to watch get eaten alive as the crowd screamed and cheered in delight. She would feel deep despair as well because he was dead and also anger due to the fact it was loss loss situation for her all she wanted to do was put it behind her.
