The Ku Klux Klan was an organization in Mississippi. The first Ku Klux Klan
Flourished in the Southern United States in the late 1868s, and died out by the early 1870s. The third Ku Klux Klan emerged after World War II and was associated with opposing the civil rights movement and progressed among minorities. (Ku Klux Klan.) The KKK were known for racism, violence and classified as a hate group. Throughout history it forced blacks and other minorities to live in a fear that they did not deserve. Klan members adopted masks and robes that hid their identities and added to the Drama of their night rides. The night time was the chosen time for their attacks.
The Klan Attacked black member of the loyal leagues and intimidated Southern Republicans and Freeman’s Bureau workers. When they killed black political leaders, they also killed heads Of families, along with leaders of churches and community groups, because those people Had many roles. Klan violence worked to suppress black voting. Over 2,000 people were killed, wounded, and otherwise injured in Louisiana within a few weeks prior to the Presidential election in November 1868.( Ku Klux Klan.) The KKK killed and wounded over 200 black Republicans, hunting and chasing them through the woods. Thirteen Captives were taken from jail and shot, a half-buried pile of 25 bodies was found in the woods. The Ku Klux Klan feared blacks by burning crosses, yelling racial slurs, hanging and beating African Americans.
They found any possible way to torture African Americans. The KKK Put the African American in a sad situation by burning their houses. The Ku Klux Klan used any savage technique to harm or hurt African Americans. (Ku Klux Klan.)The KKK was classified as a hate group and there ...
