Goal 1: Khari will improve his emotional and behavioral regulation. • Khari appeared to be in a good mood and happy to see the QP. • Khari acknowledged, “I live with the Beaton’s my foster parents.” • Khari commented, “I like to watch television and play the Xbox.” • Khari informed the QP, “We go places sometimes, but I have a long way to get to school in the morning and I don’t get home until night after school.” • Khari reflected on ways he can bond with his foster family by participating in My Time, participating in family activities, holding weekly meetings, and eating a meal together. • Khari focused on not respecting the boundaries at school because he doesn’t follow the rules, ignores his teachers’ directions and get into other kids’ …show more content…

Goal 2: Khari will improve his academic performance and social functioning. • Khari proceeded down the hallway in an orderly fashion without running in the hallway or talking to his peers. • The school lunch coordinator informed the QP, “Khari is always hungry when he comes to school, but because of the many things he is allergy to we have to do a different type of lunch for him; however, he will not get the things we offer such as cereal and fruit which is why his hungry before lunch.” • Khari established that he was going to have a good day by listening and being where he was supposed to be. • Khari was observed playing with a toy car at his desk then proceed to roll it around in his chair; however, the QP instructed Khari to stop and sit up to pay attention to the assignment the teacher was given if he was going to have a good day. • Khari engaged with his EC teacher and went to her class with her. • Khari’s teacher reported, “Khari doesn’t have many grades because he refuses to participate and stay in class and all he wants to do is play technology which is something he can’t do every
