Justin Trudeau
Everyone (most people have) has someone they consider a hero. Heroes can be anyone with astounding courage and strength. Individuals who choose to risk their own life to increase the happiness and fairness in others’ lives are heroes. A hero is someone who is daring, cunning, and humble. A prime example of a hero is Justin Trudeau since he is a leader who has the people’s best interests at heart, and he combats racism and fights for equality.
Justin Trudeau had an exceedingly average life just like any other Canadian. Justin was born on December 25, 1971, on Christmas Day and always showed interest in Canadian Politics. He is the father or Pierre Trudeau who served as the 15th Prime Minister of Canada. Later on, in life, Justin went to McGill University and the University of British Columbia. After graduation, he married Sophie Grégoire who was a former television host. In 2013 Justin became the official leader of the Liberal Party. Justin boxed a conservative politician in 2012 for a charity and won, earlier in life he and his dad sparred together. Eventually, in 2015 he won the election …show more content…

During his election he promised voters real change in his campaign, calling for increases in taxes for the wealthy and tax cuts for the middle and lower class. He also said that he would protect abortion rights and legalize marijuana in Canada. While in office he has changed the country’s climate change policies. He has said that Canadians want a government with an agenda for this country that’s positive and ambitious and hopeful. He also appointed half of his cabinet to women honoring a campaign promise of having a gender-balanced cabinet. “When asked why he the need to do this, the self-purported ‘proud feminist’ simply replied: ‘Because it’s 2015’” (Justin Trudeau).
