Jonathan Iwegbu is bright and cheerful, despite that he just came from war and lost his son. Jonathan is happy to be alive. He is also very constructive and hopeful approaching to life. Which in the first paragraph he “counted himself extra-ordinarily luck.” “Happy survival!” and “how happy he is for his life.” He was blessed to come home after the war and still have “his head, his wife Maria’s head, and the heads of three out of four children.” He is very excited that he can enjoy spending time with the people that are alive and not have to be sad for the people that don’t make it out of the war.
