G: The Cuban Missile Crisis, the promise of getting man to moon, and starting the Civil Rights Act, that was all John F Kennedy. He was one of the most influential presidents of all time. Throughout his life he faced many challenging struggles and won many awards, even when death tried to stop him, his legacy lived on.
N: John F Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917. He was the second of 9 children that were very powerful and wealthy. In 1944 he saved a bunch of people from a boat crash and earned a purple heart. During his life he climbed his way up the political food chain. He started with the House of Representatives and then to the Senate. In 1960 he ran for president. With his Lyndon B Johnson as his running mate he did one of the most shocking things ever. He won. No one expected someone his age would win especially since he was going against Richard Nixon. Throughout his short term he did many great things.

The United States were trying to get a man to moon against the Russians. There were many other struggles during his time. N: Before his time as president he served in World War 2. While he was in the US Navy, a boat that he was on sunk. When rescuing others on board he hurt himself. This earned him a Purple Heart. He is also the only president who has won a Pulitzer Prize . Throughout his time as president he also accomplished many things. He created the Peace Corps in his first year. Over time nearly 220,000 people have joined since. He made the Equal Pay Act and helped the Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in his last year as
