The song “ Jesus Take the Wheel” sang by Carrie Underwood comes from a conversation she and her friend had about how his girlfriend (now his wife) almost got into a car crash. In hopes that making this song would help her recover from the shock of almost crashing, they create “Jesus Take the Wheel” which has now won a Grammy Award. The song explains how the girlfriend isn’t going down the path she hopes to go down and how she is asking Jesus to “take the wheel,” meaning she is asking him to help her make the right choices and help her get back on track.

The main message behind “Jesus Take the Wheel” (Carrie Underwood) is no matter how bad or hard your life gets, you can always turn to Jesus for help.
