Kindergarten children are energetic. They have a lot of energy, and they want to use in physical activities such as running, climbing, and jumping. Their desire to be involved in physical activities makes kindergarten an ideal time to involve children in projects of a building, for example, making learning centers to be like a store and post office. Kindergarten children are continuing to learn to regulate their emotions and social interactions. There are some things you can do to promote kindergarten positive social and emotional development such as, teach and role model how to make and keep friends, and model positive social and emotional responses. He devoted his life to conducting experiments, observing children and developing and writing about his cognitive learning approach. Piaget theory explains how individuals think, understand and learn. Piaget believed that intelligence is to know and involves the use of mental operations developed, as a result, acting mentally and physically in and on the environment. Lev Vygotsky theory of development is particularly useful in describing children 's mental, language, and social development. Vygotsky believed that children 's mental, language and social development is supported and enhanced by others through social interactions. One example of how to use social studies in kindergarten is, you would gather with your children and talk about different transportation. You can use pictures to show them the examples and then they will be able to draw the picture on their own. Art in kindergarten consists of knowledge, skills, and concepts from these four areas: music, art, dance, and theater. You will want to integrate the art into everything that you do.
