Some measures that would need to be made to evaluate improvements at The Jasmine Hospital in Pine City, Colorado would be for the management team to have a meeting each week with staff to address patient concerns, incidents and changes in the staff schedule. The meeting will need to address the concern of the four deaths in three months of not being able to address compound fractures or head traumas of patients. The families of the teenagers who passed away under the care of Jasmine Hospital need to be contacted and send our condolences to the family. The families should receive a card and flowers for their lost.
The hospital’s goal is to focus on primary acute care and other patients concerns in the Emergency Department. There is a large amount of people in the community needing care. The measurements that are being used to impact improvements are reliable. The health care professionals, doctors and nurses have to be willing to work together as a team to help take care of patient’s needs. The rewards that are identified for all the stakeholders in this process are better health care. With these new improvements there will be fewer deaths within the hospital. Medical doctors will be able to study new treatments and help save lives of head trauma patients. The patients at the hospital will receive high standard health care from outstanding physicians and a great team. There will be great improvements made to ensure quality health care and less time waiting to be seen by a doctor.
