If I could give you a list of reasons why being afraid of Santa is reasonable, I would. But I can’t. Because being afraid of Santa just isn’t logical for a seven year old boy. I have never quite understood what is so appealing about this fat, jolly man that brings gifts into your home in the middle of the night every December 24th. It’s creepy if you ask me. I mean you can look at it two ways. A man comes into your house, eats these disgusting cookies we all set out that everyone knows are full of boogers and probably spit, hangs out for a while to put presents under your tree, and then leaves, onto his next house for the night. Or, you can look at it the way I see it. A large, weirdly dressed blueberry man hops down your chimney at the dead of night to steal your food, and give you these presents you’ve wanted forever, but how does he even know that? To me, the guy seems like one heck of a stalker. I never fully understood who decided they would dress up in a big red suit and do this, but they must have been quite a character if it took off enough to become a yearly tradition. …show more content…

No. I am on a mission to prove that Santa is logically terrifying because nobody else agrees with me. Trust me when I say this, “I KNOW I AM NOT BEING CUTE BY “PRETENDING” TO BE AFRAID OF SANTA.” It’s just not cute after a year or two of being around. However, riddle me this, why do other kids think this is amazing? The gifts? Sure, I understand that. But everything else? What part of that could ever make you want to jump for joy in any way whatsoever? Not only is the whole Christmas Eve thing creepy, but don’t even get me started on the mall Santas. I know they aren’t the real Santas but either way, knock off Santas are just as creepy, smiling at you all big and excited like they know you’re internally having a major freak out
