I think the internment was morally justified in utilitarianism point of view. Emotions were at its peak during that time and the president’s decision made the majority happy. As Rosentand (2013) explained, each culture has its own and no other culture has the right to stick its nose in; therefore, the internment was not an example of cultural relativism instead it was “ad hominem fallacy” where it was not about loyalty but about the race and of being Japanese ethnicity. As time went by and civil rights at its strongest, compensation was at least reasonable to the surviving internment victim.
