What is cancer? Cancer is a group of diseases that is grouped out of control cell growth. I will be explaining how the Environment, are lifestyles, and genetics play a major on how people can develop cancer or catch cancer. There are so many types cancer. Cancer can start in any body tissue. Let’s start with tobacco use. People who smoke can develop lung cancer, not everybody who smokes will develop lung cancer. People who smoke can get cancer in the lungs, mouth throat, and pancreas. It is to be believed that 1 out of every 4 cancers is caused by smoking. Every year 1 out of every smokers die due to lung cancer. Another reason for cancer is the way we eat and how much fiscal activity are body needs to have. Researchers say that all foods contain little amounts of substances that could cause cancer but we would have to eat a lot of it to catch cancer. Getting up every day eating a good breakfast, exercise, and having a healthy diet will all reduce the risk of cancer. A lot of times the main reason for people catch cancer is because of our environment and what we do ourselves. When I talk about the environment I mean the use of tobacco use and the second hand smoke that nonsmokers take in that can cause them to catch cancer. Other reasons for the environment are the sun, natural and man-made radiation, and work places that produce hazardous materials or chemicals give society a higher chance of catching a type of cancer. Cancer is something growing out of control and every year people have a higher risk of catching cancer due to our self’s and our society. It’s up to us to change the way we live, eating, and the chemicals we take in our body. Hopefully our society will find better ways for us to live, eat, and a difference in man-made radiation in helping the world slow down the fight on
