Importance Of Renewable Energy

As I going to write about the renewable energy the very first question arise in my mind is, “Why We Need Renewable Energy Sources?”. So first of all I want to put some lights on this.
Why We Need Renewable Energy Sources?
The world today faces an energy difficulty. Global population is rising rapidly. The world population was estimated to have reached 7.6 billion as of October 2017. The United Nations estimates it will further increase to 11.2 billion by the year 2100.More people means higher energy demand, but we can’t forget the more than 1 billion people today who already live without electricity.
We also can fulfill this demand of energy by non renewable energy sources such as, fossil fuels-coal, petroleum, and natural gas, nuclear energy etc. but there are major disadvantages in using this type of energy sources. Carbon is the main element in fossil fuels. By processing fossil fuels …show more content…

Provide a sustainable energy source for billion people is a huge challenge. To complete this challenge, renewable energy sources has to be a larger portion of energy.
Advantages of Renewable Energy
 It helps us to fight against climate change: Renewable energy sources do not or less emit greenhouse gases in energy generation process, that makes them the cleanest, most possible solution to prevent environmental degradation.
 Endless: With compared to conventional energy sources such as coal, gas, oil and nuclear reserves are finite but clean energies are available from sun. This makes them an important element in a sustainable energy system that allows development today without risking future generations.
 Reducing energy dependence: The local nature of clean sources gives local economies an advantage and make them “energy independence”. Everywhere in the world there is a renewable resource like wind, sun, water or organic material available for producing free
