Many countries accept carbon-free energy as alternative energy, and are trying to develop and apply new technologies that will enable them to use renewable energy sources in the most efficient way. However switching to carbon-free energy argued that is an unrealistic way. This essay aims to assess the differences in opinion between supports and argues of renewable energy that switching to carbon-free energy is unrealistic. Firstly consider about employing renewable energy. Secondly evaluate the sustainable development of biofuel and wind energies.
Solar energy is capable of becoming the world's future power supply because, it is renewable, eco-friendly, and extremely efficient when strategically placed. Solar energy is clean energy that does not affect our environment. Solar power utilizes the sun’s energy to produce electricity, unlike other sources of energy, which rely on continual mining for raw materials. Consequently, producing solar energy from the heat from the sun does not result into the annihilation of the ecosystem, compared to the extraction of fossil fuels (Bode, 2005). Therefore, with the use of solar energy, it will help keep the environment clean, thus help to combat the issue of global warming, which is a threat to the world’s ecosystem worldwide.
There are two types of energy, renewable and non-renewable energy. Renewable energy resources are ones that are able to produce again. Non-renewable energy is resources that aren’t able to produce again. Wind power, which is the most common renewable energy resource in the world today, is used widely all over the world. If the wind power runs out, hydropower should be replaced as the next most important energy resource because of environmental safety.
There is currently seven billion people living on Earth. According to the UN, Earth’s population will reach eleven billion by the end of this century. Undeveloped countries are slowly becoming more modernized due to globalization. The demand for energy is increasingly devouring fossil fuels day by day. What will happen when it is all gone?
This has been proven by the statement from International Energy Agency “The center of gravity of global energy demand moves decisively towards emerging economies – they account for more than 90% of net energy demand growth to 2035.” (IEA) This led us to a conclusion that it is a fact that world is going to face the complex challenges in energy sector, especially developing countries that experiencing expand of population this will demand another billions of population and moreover as country developed their living standard will be improve which will more intensify the problem of the lack of energy demands. On top of that, meanwhile the supplies of conventional oil and conventional gas are expecting to be declined in near future (OECD) Meeting those challenges might require changes in fundamental issues such as changing patterns of energy production, consumption, policies and son. Fossil fuels have a crucial role in modern society, but since they are non-renewable and dangerous, we should reduce our dependence on them and explore alternative energy sources. Wind energy, hydroelectricity, and solar energy are some examples of renewable fuel sources. There are also many things that people can do everyday to save energy (and, in turn, conserve fossil fuels). There are three types of fossil fuels- coal, crude oil, and natural gas. Coal was formed very slowly.
This is the biggest thing that renewable energy has to offer the world. With renewable energy the world won’t have to worry about an energy supply that is slowly running out because with renewable sources of energy the supply will never run out. So if we completely switch our power dependency from fossil fuels to renewable sources of energy not only will we eliminate the damage cause by the burning of fossil fuels, but it will also alleviate the fear of losing our number one source of energy. This is the biggest advantage that renewable energy offers the world and is the final crucial reason as to why I believe that renewable energy is worth
Solar Energy is a natural source of energy that never runs out and one of the most effective ways to save our environment. It is the usage of the Sun’s radiation and light to generate thermal and electrical energy. It is also considered the best option for modern people and industries because Solar Energy is renewable.
In addition, the continuous use of these non-renewable resources results in deadly implications. Although fossil fuels are a suitable source of energy, renewable resources are essentially a better form of energy because it is renewable, it is eco-friendly, and it brings economic benefits. Fossil fuels have been used
As gas prices steadily rise, people need a newer, cleaner source of energy. The alternatives are numerous and would be beneficial to the well being of the whole world. The human race must replace its fossil fuel use with renewable resources in order to prosper economically and to improve the world ecologically. Renewable resources are much cleaner and more ecologically friendly than fossil fuels. Renewable sources of energy do not pollute the environment and also do not release toxic carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
