Why is it important to follow directions the first time? I feel as if it is important to follow directions the first time instructed for many give reasons. One reason is because if you don’t listen to the directions you won’t know what to do. If you do listen to the directions you will be able to follow them and finish your work without asking questions. Sometimes if directions aren’t given they will most likely be on the paper you just have to read and follow. Some kids are very intelligent but they have bad grades because they don’t read /follow the directions. Sometimes children do the problem without reading the directions thinking they know what to do which is most likely the problems. For you to make it somewhere in life you have to follow directions especially if you’re someone assistant but i hope that you are something more. It could be worse that you put your co-workers in danger because you didn’t follow directions. Another example of the importance of following directions is during baking if you don’t follow the directions the cookies can get burnt or be undercooked; or the mix can be too loose. It's very important to follow directions, or else the world somewhere else. If rules were not created the world would be in chaos. The world would be up in flames without directions/rules. If they weren’t created criminals would be on the loose, they would have car wrecks everyday and no one would have a job and afford all the nice things they have as in money a house and a car. Everyone is at their best and can be their best when they do the right things like following directions. The world would be such a better place if everyone followed the directions/rules. Later on in life I advise you to follow directions or you will be typing or writing this essay as I am. If I did this right the first time I wouldn’t be typing it again for a second time. If you actually think about it, it isn’t that hard to do you just have to use your brain and type some things that make sense.
