I Have a Passion for Sports
I love activities. I love activities because it gives me something to do when i’m bored. Activities are fun too. There is one activity that I like better than the rest. I love sports. One sport I love is baseball. I love it because it gives me something to do. Another reason that I love baseball is that my friends play it too. I also love baseball because I can practice it almost anywhere. I also like that there are a variety of positions to play. That is why baseball is one of my favorite sports. When I turned three, I started playing my favorite sport to this day, Soccer! I love soccer because it gives me this feeling of excitement and I just love winning with all of my friends on the field. I loved soccer and I looked forward to it every day. I met a lot of my friends in soccer and it is one of the reasons that I started to become an athletic person. When I was younger the game of baseball was a safe haven for me. This was because I had a speech impediment which caused me to have trouble making friends at school. To counter my loneliness, I developed a close relationship with my dad. However, my dad worked six days a week and on his off days he always watched baseball. It’s a sport you have to enjoy, you have to love getting down in the dirt to be safe on a base. You have to love running fast so that you make it home to score. You have to love picking up that bat and swinging as hard as you can to get the ball as far as you can. I love all these things about softball. I even enjoy “taking one for the team” which means you may get out at but you helped advance your teammate to the next base. Softball is my favorite sport because it’s a difficult sport and I really enjoy playing
I enjoy sports a whole lot. sports is an enjoyable way to spend time outdoors. Sports that I like are fishing, football,and baseball.
Baseball - Talk about something I live and die for. This sport means more to me than my first kid will ever mean to me. No not literally but that is how important and meaningful this sport is to me. This sport has given me the opportunity to meet some of the greatest people and most inspirational people in my life. Sports play a very important role in my life ever since I could walk. My interests in playing sports began at the age of three as my parents signed me up for soccer, flag football, basketball, and lacrosse. First grade started my competitive edge as I began to play for travel teams in various sport tournaments. This competitive edge transferred from the sports field to the classroom having teachers and coaches helping me be the best I can be. Sports have continually well-shaped and defined my character by teaching me how to accept a win from working hard, also how a loss is an opportunity to learn and fix mistakes.
