Ever since the beginning of mankind, hunting was not only enacted for pleasure but also taken on as a legacy or a way of life for many people. Whether leisure hunting or hunting for a sport, both acts involve the position and incentive to kill that is passed down in generations as tradition or that is taught. This issue is extremely important to me and should be for many other individuals considering the impacts hunting has and will eventually effect our environment and the world entirely. This topic is also important as it relates to the negative effects on the future of our world regarding the possible endangerment and extinction of innocent animals. Another reason banning hunting is promoted results in the infliction on pain, suffering, and killing of innocent animals being praised upon or causing the spread and incentive of killing to humanity. Editors at The Environmental Magazine found that “80% of Americans agree that hunting is a legitimate place in modern society, while the percent of Americans indicating disapproval of hunting has declined from 22% in 1995 to 16% in 2007”. This decrease in awareness could result in a majority of our population being unaware on the issues hunting can cause. In opposition of creating any rules or regulations to execute leisure and sport hunting, it is believed that hunting is not bad for the environment and that it revolves around entertainment and personal needs. While being opposed to such acts of all types of hunting, manipulating the use and possession of killing machines to enact in cruel and unfair acts upon animals results in the loss of many necessary environmental factors that help balance the ecological system and
