There are many cases in which one wonders whether or not what they are reading may have more than meets the eye,The adventures of Huckleberry Finn is more of a social commentary book rather than child’s literature, because it revolves around the main topics of racial difference, and a time period in which there was a varied amount of opinions over the solidified role of public education. The book starts off with a time period in which slavery is legal and there is a focus on superstitions. Now if we know that slavery is legal then we have a clear view that the society they live in is not fair to all.
