In the novel, How to Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Jem previously believes that Boo Radley is a brute that would kill anyone in an instant. However, after witnessing many of his positive, friendly actions, Jem sees how Boo Radley truly is. After witnessing Boo Radley’s actions, Jem changed his perspective of Boo from a monster figure because he sees a softer, friendlier side of Boo.
