How would you feel if you were discriminated for your race? That is what happened to Hebshi. (Warjkoo 2013) Racial profiling is still a very real problem. Have you ever wondered if maybe our government or political system could affect it? Well the iron triangle does play a part. Racial profiling is related to policy making power of an iron triangle. Power of an iron triangle can make to change policy. Iron triangle affects policy which can help end racial profiling. Thus, helping equality. A woman was escorted off her flight at the METRO Airport in Detroit on September 11,2011. Which is the tenth anniversary of the attacks on The Twin Towers. She was then jailed and striped searched for more than four hours and she didn’t even know what was happening, much less did they explain what she was being withheld for. All because she was racially profiled for her ethnic background, which is 50% Jewish and 50% Arabic. This started because, the two American-Indian passengers next to her when to the bathroom together and the other passenger got scared and alerted the staff.
