If Lady Macbeth did not manipulate Macbeth to be deceptive and did not question his manhood, then Macbeth would not have considered murdering king Duncan. After three witches prophesize Macbeth’s future as king, his naive and indecisive personality is revealed. He constantly contemplates whether or not he should kill king Duncan, but his thoughts are corrupted by his wife, Lady Macbeth. Once he commits to the crime and becomes the serpent, he continues to be a murderer and kills his friend, Banquo. Eventually, Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to commit the murder, but before the murder he is anxious. The play Macbeth by William Shakespeare starts off with a noble warrior Named Macbeth that is titled thane of Glamis by his own uncle, King Duncan. Macbeth is awarded thane of Cawdor due to the switching sides of the original title holder who is hanged for treason. Macbeth who is deceived by his wife kills the king in a plot for power and they put the blame on the guards by laying bloody daggers next to them. Macbeth begins to lose himself as the play goes on. He kills his best friend Banquo and Macduff’s wife and kids. Lady Macbeth kills herself as she goes crazy from all the killings and then that is when Macbeth completely loses himself. Macbeth is told by the witches that he cannot be killed by any one of women born. Macduff and Malcolm, heir to the throne who fled Scotland think of a plan to kill Macbeth. Macbeth faces Macduff and Malcolm’s army alone as he is labeled a tyrant and is abandoned by everyone. He faces the army fearlessly as he cannot killed by any one of woman born but fails to realize that Macduff was born of C-section leading to his downfall and Macbeth is Beheaded. Malcolm becomes the new king. Lady Macbeth's deception had a dramatic effect on the play leading to a dramatic change in many lives. The three main points that will be discussed are how Lady Macbeth becomes deceived; how Lady Macbeth deceives others and the results from Lady Macbeth deceiving others. Lady Macbeth, was simply minded and became easily deceived.
After the death of King Duncan, Macbeth becomes the more controlling one, and Lady Macbeth’s guilt eventually becomes too much for her to handle which leads to her death. Lady Macbeth is in fact the one that performs the preparations for the murder of King Duncan, but still shows some signs of humanity by not committing the murder herself because he resembles "My father as he slept". After the murder has been committed, she also shows signs of being a strong person because she calms Macbeth down in order to keep him from going insane.

On the occasion of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, in Act I, Scene 7, and argument between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth relieve the controversy between good and evil. Previous to the disagreement, Macbeth was granted a prophecy in which guaranteed him royalty and kingship, however, he is contemplating murdering the king to fulfil his destiny. It did not take long for Macbeth to realize the mistake he would have made and disregarded the idea, that is until Lady Macbeth confronts him. With the use of impressive manipulation, she is able to pry the evil out of Macbeth in order to claim the power she craves.
She also asks them to give her the strength to kill Duncan, she just wants to get on and do it without feeling guilty. At the end of the scene she takes full control of the situation, and Macbeth seems glad to let her have the responsibility.

Lady Macbeth herself also plays a role in the fate of Macbeth. She is ultimately the reason that the murder of Duncan is carried out and Macbeth is successfully not blamed for the murder. Macbeth has conflicting feelings about the murder of his friend and king, Duncan, but Lady Macbeth criticizes him, saying that he is not a man unless he goes through with murdering Duncan.
Macbeth is unsure of what he should do with the fate he has been given for his future destiny. These prophecies led him to make the decision of taking action against a man who is loved by the town and who was a great ruler in the eyes of his townsmen, this man being King Duncan. When Macbeths wife Lady Macbeth learns of the witch’s prophesies she creates a plan for Macbeth to kill King Duncan. At first Macbeth is unsure of her plan and is scared of being caught for murder, but he soon takes initiative to kill King Duncan in his sleep.

In Shakespeare’s Macbeth, a selfish Scottish thane becomes over-ambitious and commits several murders in order to gain and stay in power. After the murders, Macbeth evades suspicion by hiding his guilt and intentions, therefore deceiving others into thinking that he is innocent. Other characters including Lady Macbeth, the witches and the Scottish thanes also use their appearances to hide the truth and deceive others. With these examples, Shakespeare shows that appearances can be deceiving.

When he murders Duncan, he regrets doing it as he is respected and is Duncan's right-hand man, "I am afraid to think what I've done; look don't again I dare not" (2.2.50-51). Causes Macbeth to go insane and leads him to a path of crime which puts him in an inescapable situation that will lead him to his death. During this English unit, I have studied one of Shakespeare’s most famous play script ‘Macbeth’, a tragedy exploring a variety of themes including vaulting ambition, deception, guilt and its drive to madness, trust and betrayal, the supernatural’s effect on reality and disorder. I have chosen to focus on ambition, the most significant theme of the play, and how ambition can lead to extreme actions. I chose this theme because it is widely expressed throughout the play and is a great influence on Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and their actions. Macbeth who commences the play as a heroic and courageous soldier, let his vaulting ambition fuel him to act against his better judgement and assassinate King Duncan whom he was extremely loyal to, this led up
