Macbeth Paragraph Assignment – Aryan

The most important message in Macbeth by William Shakespeare is being considerate of consequences. This is shown when Macbeth decides to kill the king, when Lady Macbeth cannot bear the guilt from pushing Macbeth to commit crimes, and when Macduff leaves Scotland without his family to request assistance from Malcolm to dethrone Macbeth. Firstly, when Macbeth is about to kill Duncan, Lady Macbeth, being selfish and greedy, pushes him into committing an unforgivable crime by calling him lady-like making him feel insecure about himself and bringing up the prophecy "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!" …show more content…

When he murders Duncan, he regrets doing it as he is respected and is Duncan's right-hand man, "I am afraid to think what I've done; look don't again I dare not" (2.2.50-51). Causes Macbeth to go insane and leads him to a path of crime which puts him in an inescapable situation that will lead him to his death. All the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand "(5.1.51-52), shows that Duncan's murder has played a big part in her life as how she also says, "What has been done cannot be undone." (5.1.70) About Duncan's death. All this guilt has taken over her, and she is losing her mind and kills herself, shows that you need to think of what will …show more content…

As Macduff finds out about the death of his family he knows that he cannot change or do anything about it now, he blames himself for the death of his family, "Sinful Macduff, they were all struck for thee! Naught that I am, not for their demerits but for mine fell slaughter on their souls. Heaven rest them now!" (4.3.224-226), As this shows to be considerate of your consequences, small mistakes like this can be a burden to carry for the rest of your life so be smart with your decisions. Being thoughtful of implications has played a significant role in the play but also in real life, for example, bullying. Bullying someone can make them feel down and then the person can/will be depressed. The situation can go out of hand quickly, by them committing suicide which then the bully will have this on their conscience for the rest of their lives knowing that a person is not living because they made fun of them. We all need to be considerate of what the consequence
