George Washington, an incredible and fascinating leader to America. George Washington began as the general in the Revolutionary War, to being the first president of the United States. He had done so many tremendous things throughout his life. He even almost went completely bankrupt, but never gave up. Washington was an outstanding leader because he persevered, he was respectful, caring, confident, humble, and a stupendous listener. During the war, Washington valued the people he led instead of thinking of them as means to an end. He respected his soldiers. He would also share their severe hardships with them. He gave people a voice. He never disrespected any of his friends or family. In conclusion, Washington was an admirable leader because he was respectful to others. After that, Washington was also an incredible leader because he was caring. When someone was going through a very difficult time, he helped them through it. He cared for his soldiers. An excellent example of this is, during the extraordinary frigid winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge, he took great care in seeing that his soldiers were well housed. He also took great care of his followers and loved ones. Therefore, Washington was a superb leader because he cared for individuals. Following this, George Washington was an admirable leader because he was confident, yet humble. His humility was reflected in the way where he gave individuals a voice and considered their opinions and ideas. Although Washington was optimistic, he didn't get carried away.
