Bill Gates has not only changed America, but he has impacted the world on a vast level no one else has. As a genius in his own field of technology, Bill Gates used his intelligence to form a super tech company named Microsoft that most computers in the world can not get by without. He was once the richest man in the world because he did made the largest tech company the world has seen. Bill Gates is not one of the most influential people of the century just because he made Microsoft, it was more because he tirelessly tried to make the world a better place. Started in 1994 Bill Gates focused on families that were on low income as well as helping children to achieve the education they need. “Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people's health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty.” Bill Gates total net worth is about 92 billion dollars and out of all of that he has donated a third of the amount to his own foundation. Gates stepped down from his position from Microsoft in 2014 to focus all of his attention on this foundation. One of Bill Gates’s first trips was a trip to India, he helped low income families get the oral vaccine for the polio. Ever since this trip his foundation and his service has skyrocketed. His anti- malaria work is working far better than ever, as well as his anti- HIV and Aids programs. Other billionaires such as Warren Buffet have contributed billions of money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
