In the U.S homelessness has been a big deal and it will continue to be a big problem. It has showed that it has increased in the thousands margin from the beginning to 2015 and we do not seem to make it a big deal or care for it to stop. we need to do something about it and have it end before it gets to be a big problem and it becomes bigger than it already is. we need to come together as a country or just as human beings and help them out so it ends. There are over 700 deaths that happen due to the lack of food and water or warmth homeless people experience because there are not enough homeless shelters. If there is enough, they wouldn’t want to be there because they are in terrible conditions. for example, it has bed bugs and has many diseases because there are so many people. it is very overcrowded and they have to wait in line to get a bed and if they get the bed the next day they have to wait in line again. There has been fingers pointed at the government that they should be responsible or at least for them to have programs. The facts are though that is not the best solution to have because it is not feasible. In thee Adrian Public Schools McCullough has seen the funding from her program decrease from 62,000 last year to 39,000 this year. The national law on homelessness and poverty, says about 138,00 children experience homelessness. That right there is a scary thought because as we get older the children are supposed to be the future and they're supposed to help us get advanced but with that such high number not lots of children are getting the education they need. That number can increase because the families with low income are at very high risk to experience homelessness too.
