High School Students VS. Real World? Did anyone teach you about how to be successful in the real world? In today's educational society, educators do not have the curriculum to teach students the factors and skills concerning how to prosper in the world. The state would rather have the educators focused on teaching the students how to pass tests. The curriculum does not actually help students in everyday life. Students need to know math, English, science, and history for getting a degree, but when students are striving in classes and can not do a day to day task, it defeats the purpose. Helping the students will help better the society. Many students start college and between the issues of financial aid, money, working, rules and regulation, they end up dropping out. When all of these things could be solved by going through a process, but instead students get defeated because they do not understand what to do. For this reason, educators should provide students with all the skill set and knowledge to work through any type of situation. With students having less stress about the unknown tasks, they can focus on staying in college, and managing money to be able to make that happen. Accordingly, college professors would also have less scenarios of students coming up with excuses or missing assignments because life happened and they did not have the knowledge or skill set to handle the problem. Along with that, the society would increasingly become more and more educated. Colleges would also benefit from the bigger budget, because more students would be attending. Many problems come from the unknown. Therefore, if educators give students the skills on how to handle those situations, they will also be supplying them with solutions to the obstacles the students might face later on.
