First opinion
I decided to read this book because a few people I know told me that is was a very nice book to read. I do not know a lot about English books so I trusted them.
I really liked High Fidelity. It is a story about a man called Robert. He tells you about the relationships he had with women. He tells you about his first girlfriend, about the ones that put him aside because of another boy, about the ones he still likes and about the relationship he is having now.
High Fidelity an easy book to read because the language that is used is not very difficult. I also liked the book because it never bored me. Something's always happening.

-Summary
The story starts when Robert begins to tell us about his ex-girlfriends. Robert is a man and about 30 years old. He owns a record shop called Championship Vinyl. The shop is not running very well but Robert earns just enough money to keep the shop open. Two other men work at his shop. They are Robert's friends but they are not very important to the story.
When Robert finished telling about the past a new chapter starts called Now.
Laura, Robert's girlfriend, is about to leave him. Laura is a woman from Robert's age and she lives together with Robert in a apartment. The relationship between Robert and Laura is not very well at the moment and Laura falls in love with another man, the neighbour. Lauras new boyfriend has just moved to another house and she is going to live there too.
After Laura left Robert, Robert does not feel very good. At his shop he does not talk a lot and he cannot stop thinking about Laura. He starts calling her daily. Laura gets the creeps of Robert and tells him to call the police if he does not stop.
Then, at a night when Robert is drinking a beer with his friends at the local pub he sees Marie. She is a woman from New York and she sings songs at the pub. Robert thinks she is a good singer and buys a tape with her songs on it.
I love the theme of the book as it is “don’t judge a book by its cover. “ Also you are always guessing what will happen next as it is always a thriller. In conclusion, The False Prince is one of my favorite
There are three men in the story: Husband #1, Husband #2, and Robert. There is one wife who is connect too each man in some sort of relationship. First of all, Husband #1 and the wife were married. He was a military office and a childhood sweetheart. Somewhere in their relationship the wife got very unhappy in being an officers wife. She attempted to do suicide, but survived. “Her officer – why should he have a name? he was the childhood sweetheart, and what more does he want? – came home from somewhere, found her, and called the ambulance” (34). The husband did not even care much for her. She felt very lonely. Before getting married, she met a guy name Robert. The wife worked for Robert as a reader because he was blind. While being married, Robert and the wife used to stay in touch by sending audiotapes back and fourth by telling him everything. Husband #1 was not successful in his marriage because his wife was totally unhappy with the
...ne of the strongest points of the novel is that it "teaches it lessons by implication, not by preaching; and literature is at it best when it is an imitation of life and not an excuse for instruction." The humor in the novel is also complimented, and it is this humor which contributes to the instructiveness of the novel. The review ends with the statement that the "story is capital reading."
After the wife left to get Robert from the train station and returned, the two men were properly introduced. The husband at that point was lost for words and was not sure on what to say, after saying rude stuff earlier to his wife about the blind. After getting comfortable the husband offered Robert a drink, and after seeing what Robert likes he was a bit surprised about his choice in drink when he said “Bub, I’m a Scotch man myself.” And it even got him when he offered a tab or water to go with his drink. While they shared a drink, ate dinner, and then ended up back on the sofa they soon begin to watch television until the wife left to go upstairs to change. Little did the husband know him and Robert were going to have another bonding moment. When he asked Robert if he wanted to smoke dope with him, to his surprise Robert was up for trying it. He did not realize how laid back Robert could be. He did not know that the blind could have a fun side to them. When the wife came back down she was worried at first as to why her husband would offer that until she realized Robert had no problem with this at all. While they smoked and the wife soon fell asleep Robert and the husband began to come to a true bonding
There were many jobs that Rob had taken during the years; with each job he has there is a lack of passion and drive which results in his lack of commitment. Even from the beginning of the novel, Hornby writes, “Later I could see that it was a false momentum, because it didn’t belong to me at all” (Hornby 87). In the late 80s Rob was a DJ at a “club”, he loved the music and the feeling it gave him and the crowd he played for. As a DJ, Rob realized that the environment wasn’t from him, but the music that he played for others, it wasn’t his. Th...
The movie I chose was very interesting and very entertaining. This movie was about chess—a game about smarts and staying a step ahead of your opponent—Life of a King. This movie is slightly predictable, but intriguing. It is based on the true story about an ex con artist Eugene Brown who turned into a youth mentor for a bad school. The drama throughout this story was very intriguing however it was predictable. Intense to a certain extent, the movie hits all of the notes that will be told for the background information of Eugene while also inspiring young adults. Brown 's story is very attention grabbing while he gives such a solid performances.
This book was a good read for me, but I also read book reviews to help me keep track on what I am reading. These book reviews just made a better understanding of what I was reading.

This is an odd little book, but a very important one nonetheless. The story it tells is something like an extended parablethe style is plain, the characters are nearly stick figures, the story itself is contrived. And yet ... and yet, the story is powerful, distressing, even heartbreaking because the historical trend it describes is powerful, distressing, even heartbreaking.
After only a few chapters, I felt glad I decided to read it. It was exciting and suspenseful, with the mystery getting deeper and deeper every chapter. The settings were described in details and the characters, even the minor ones, were well developed, complete with interesting backstories. The variation of dialogues from formal to informal English, to Welsh, then to Irish, made the story amusing and, consequently, more interesting. The author created fascinating characters including Sam, the wealthy man with an uninteresting life; Susan, the tough and brave woman; and Eoghan, the determined and diligent boy, among others.
The book I liked the best was The Catcher And The Rye. The characteristics that made me feel this way about the book were, that it was less bland than other books with the insight inside his head made it a lot more interesting.
Continuing, Laura betrayals love in her life, by rejecting all men who intend to reach for her heart. “B...
... also be great for just the average reader because it is written more like a novel than an academic book. In all I think this book is a great read.
The Sheridan family is arranging a Garden Party a beautiful sunny day. In the poorer neighbourhood across the street, a young man gets killed in an accident. When the young girl Laura hears about this, she wants the garden party cancelled to show some respect for the exposed family. Laura speaks with her sister and her mother about cancelling the party, but she is not taken seriously by them.
I personally liked the novel "Kim". The reason I liked the novel is because I love adventure stories. The story line of "Kim" was very exciting and kept me in suspense.
