The two similarities with my partner and I are we both are interested in Health field also we both have experience in the research field. Therefore, in our resume and LOA, we both mentioned our experience in research as well as volunteering in care hospital. The first main difference is that her resume is not as crowded as mine. Her resume is much easy to read even and her organization is much easy to follow through. Second of the main differences is that in the body paragraph of her LOA, she focuses on one of her experience that is tailored to the job description. She was focusing on her research experience. For example, I was able to give advice on writing experience with Carle because we both volunteered there. Also, we the similar background, we are more likely to know the process of applying for a certain job, rather it is business or engineering or health field. However, it will be interesting to work with a peer with different academic experience. This is because we will be able to provide fresh through into the application since it is very different to our own filed. We can provide ideas outside of the box. Also, we will be able to get introduce and learn more about each career field and be well informed in a different area. The three concrete contribution I made to my peer’s portfolio were analyzing, editing, and ideas. I was able to help her analyzed the job posting and provide feedback on how to write a resume and LOA that tailored to that job posting. The second contribution was editing. Together, we look at her wording in the resume and LOA and provide a stronger action word on her resume that makes the resume more unique and outstanding. Last but not least, I was able to provide ideas on how to write a more attracting LOA. I suggested her to word differently and add more specific details to her experience in her body paragraph of her
