With a weakened barrier, Polyphemus, a huge cyclops that follows Kronos, sends monster wave after monster wave attempting to break into Camp Half Blood. Prior to this attack, Grover was kidnapped and taken away to Polyphemus. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson, leave the camp in the hands of the other campers in order to save Grover and retrieve the only cure to Thalia’s Tree, a Golden Fleece. The various surprises and plot twists within this book does a well job keeping the story going and maintains its unique elements of entertainment and comedy. This book does a great job of entertaining the reader. Its combination of comedic and fictional yet mythologically accurate creates a book that is difficult to put down after a while. Overall, I think that Riordan did another great job with this book’s storyline. I believe that this book does not need any additions in order to make it better since it’s as good as it can
