My Experience: My Different Experience In High School

High School is a different experience for everyone and those experiences can be both good and bad. Sometimes you will be super happy because you get an “A” on a project or assignment, and other times you get so frustrated with yourself or a teacher so much that you wish you were done with it all. Overall, high school was an interesting experience for me. I was always doing something whether that be homework, after school activities, or even organizing events. It seemed like I had no free time at all. High school has definitely taught me many things that I will take with me the rest of my life. The friends you enter high school with might not be the friends that you leave with. It’s hard to understand throughout your high school experience but in all it was for the best. For example, My best friends named Breanna started high school the same time I did. We had no classes together and we were both involved in different things. Eventually, we grew apart and now she is homeschooled so I never see her anymore. Even though Breanna is not a close friend anymore, I have some amazing friends. Color guard was the extra curricular that impacted my life the most. Color guard has taught me to be punctual because it had multiple practices and performances that was depended me to be there or the show was ruined. Also in my last year of color guard, I was a captain of the guard. I had to develop leadership responsibilities because there were questions to be answered and no director to be found. Especially in this last season because our director got an amazing job opportunity and had to move to Arizona. After this, it was the captain 's responsibility to run practice and make us better before our final competitions. The first practice we had without our director we had to figure out how to get in the door, provide our own music, and start warm-ups immediately. The other two captains and I had trouble in the beginning of the season but as the end approached we had enough leadership ability to have an entire practice without directors or staff
