There are different commandments through America. Commandments are rules that make up our society. Some even go back to hundreds of years ago. Commandments do not have to be written rules, they can be common courtesy things such as saying bless you, saying thank you, chewing with your mouth close and excuse me, don’t criticize people for what they do,conduct yourself in a good way, respect yourself in a good way . Commandments are rules that you need to follow or there might be consequences behind them.
Rule #1: Saying thank you is a polite thing to say when you receive something from someone, it's a good thing to do.Good manners are a code of conduct or rules, based on common sense, courtesy and usage. Gratitude is one of these rules. You don’t want to be rude and not tell people thank you when they do good things to you. Saying thank you really shows that you have respect and have manners. You should always say thank you.
Rule #2: Chewing with your mouth close is a good thing to do. Some people don't chew with their mouth close and that's nasty and very rude. When you don't chew with your mouth closed you see your food or anything you are eating and thats nasty. Chewing with your mouth close is something my parents told me when I was little to never show people what’s in your mouth and that they don’t want to see what’s in your
These seven commandments are easy not to do and they are also thing that we have heard from our parents or from people. I would want everyone to take these commandments in mind and not do them and tell people that you know that are doing these commandments to not do them anymore and that they need to change their lives. Using these commandments in today will help us in the future and for the rest of our time. Commandments are rules that make up our
America has always been a land of opportunity ever since the pilgrims first arrived. During the infancy of America’s history, the country was under developed and would be considered a third world country today. Even though America was under developed compared to the previous motherland of Great Britain it always had the potential to exceed the many limits set upon by others. For example, Andrew Jackson, also known as the man of the people, was raised by a single mother who struggled to raise two other children and struggled with economic hardships. Regardless of his upbringings, Andrew Jackson became the seventh president of the United States in which he invited the public to his inaugural ball. Some people who migrated from other countries to America, such as Frances Trollope, failed to recognize the potential that America had. Instead of Mrs. Trollope acknowledging the promises the newly found country had, she decided to critically compare it to her homeland.

commandments are to be followed by all the animals living on the farm at all times.
In the last couple of years the rudeness of Americans has increased dramatically. It especially seems that the children of America have become ruder. This leads one to wonder if America will just become even ruder or will the manners of the American people improve.
The ninth and tenth commandment was combined because they both acknowledge property rights. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, you shall not set your heart on his house, his field, his servant –man or woman—his ox, his donkey, or anything that is his.” During this biblical time, the wife was considered property to her husband, so in order to understand this commandment you must understand that this was a cultural norm. This commandment strictly prohibits confiscation of what belongs to another individual, whether it is his wife or his belongings. This commandment
In his or her life, a Christian tries to obey the 10 commandments. Throughout history, these rules have been proclaimed by Moses and Isaiah and Jeremiah, taught by Jesus, interpreted by the apostles, like Peter and Paul, and other teachers within the traditional Christian understandings of what is right and what is wrong. Document 1 lists the 10 commandments, but there is a couple that emphasizes what one should not do. “You shall not steal, You shall not give false evidence against your neighbor, You shall not covet.” A follower of this religion would look up to these listings and obey them whenever in doubt or have difficulty making a tough decision. God also quotes in Document 9, “Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.” This explains how if you show mercy towards Him, you will get mercy back. In other words, it is related to the ‘Golden Rule’ which is to treat others the way you wish to be
The Ten Commandments are a set of Commandments, that were inscribed on two stone tablets, which were given to Moses, during the New Testament, Exodus 20:1–17. The 10 Commandments are known to be
The Seven Commandments are the basic principles of animalism worked out by the pigs and described originally as "unalterable laws" by which the animals were to live. The Seven Commandments were written on the barn wall for all animals to see and read if they could. The original Commandments are:
Their unfaithfulness led to enslavement in Egypt for approximately four hundred years. When the Lord finally freed his people through Moses, He established a second covenant. This new covenant bound the twelve tribes of Israel into one community under a set of commandments by which the people would model their lives. The Ten Commandments serve to protect the Hebrew community. The first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me,” must come first because it reestablishes the foundation that God defines right and wrong. The second, third and fourth commandments aim to prevent divisive values from forming in the community. Commandments five through nine focus on specific actions and the timing of their consequences. For example, killing has immediate consequences, whereas adultery has future implications. The Israelites separate themselves from other civilizations with the final commandment. God commands the Hebrews to control their thoughts, so that their thoughts may not lead to sinful actions. The Ten Commandments were not concerned with granting justice among the people, but firmly established the first principles of one of the longest lasting cultures in human
Social norms refer to the way that members of a society are expected to act and behave. These norms provide structure and conformity for individuals within a society. They also provide a sense of “normalcy” amongst individuals within a society. In a society, “we tend to follow our own cultural norms without questioning them, because we regard them as the ‘norm’.” (Henslin,2012). To intentionally break a cultural norm, takes some thought and effort to consciously go against our inbred “culture within us.” When pondering about social norms that I could break and the reactions of others, I began brainstorming various social norms. One in particular norm came to mind. In American society there is a social norm that if you use the drive thru window

Differences in culture make country has its own traditional customs. Wedding, an extremely important event on one's life, has specific ritual observances. However, thanks to the cultural exchange, Vietnam wedding customs and those of a foreign country – America, have both similarities and differences.
Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, etc., the Ten Commandments are currently a part of everyday life and are influencing everyone living in the United Sates of America regardless of religion. It isn’t a matter of what religion or God you believe in, it is a matter of knowing these signposts are entirely a part of ones life. They measure or “gauge” the way our society is turning towards and how we are as people spiritually, ethically, morally, and all of above. The Decalogue is one of the most extraordinary guides to life can really change our perspective and world. No one is perfect, but even trying to follow these ten principals can and will steer one in the right direction. What started as a few biblical guidelines truly made an impact on an entire nation.
Fifth commandment says that you should respect your parents, both mother and father. The sixth commandment says that “you should not kill “straight forward as the commandment says. The Seventh Commandment says that couples should be faithful in their marriage and not cheat. The Eighth Commandment says that you should never steal. The Ninth Commandment says that you should not lie.
...west importance. Granted, every Commandment is equally necessary and valuable, but the Lord began with “…you shall have no other gods before me” for a reason (Ex. 20:3).
