Golf Team Room

The golf team room was used as a chemistry lab, but later was remodeled as two rooms divided for golf team meetings and practices. The walls are half painted in red and white to match our school colors. There are scattered pictures of different golf courses around the two rooms. Banners and trophies are displayed as accomplishments when you walk in the room. To the side of the couches, there are team lockers shining in school colors. Nine lockers are setup to the left of the entrance, and each are engraved of our last names above it. Saint Martins posters are painted on every side of the walls. The first room has a swing simulator that acts like a realistic driving range. There is a mat, projector, and screen to give the realistic feel when practicing. This room in particular acts as a source of happiness and a calming environment that I can escape if I am having a bad day or I just want to get away for awhile. The other side of the room has a lounge and a putting green that simulates slope and speed of greens. I like to go every day after dinner where no one is around. There are more people that come to the room on weekdays than on weekends since people are gone. The most active time of the day is usually between noon through 2 PM. Most of the golf team is either practicing or catching up on leadership ideas for the team events. When the team meetings are over, the team will have putting contests and other fun activities to get everyone closer. After 2-3 in the afternoon, it becomes vacant for the rest of the night, which is when I prefer to come back and work a little extra on my skills. It is almost a feeling of relief once I am back in the team room alone. I do not have to worry about other distractions. It is the perfect time to get away and be at
