Dental practices are implementing digital ways by adopting technology in providing their services. With the emerging trend of use of technology in many industries, health sector has increased their involvement in electronic recording. The timing of the electronic systems in the dental clinics is timely. The World Wide Web applications provision has made it easy for dentists to apply the EHR. Digital use in dental care can be incorporated with multiple information and external applications. Paper work in the dental clinic standalone; this means that records in manual forms cannot be integrated with other paper forms or information hence there is a need for going paperless in the dental clinic. Use of paper work in the hospital was very inefficient; this is because some patients could not attain their medical history in time, human error and they were labor intensive.
