George W. Bush George Bush was an inspiring president and truly a man for his country. He faced one of the most difficult challenges of any president since Abraham Lincoln (Whitehouse.gov). The challenge that he faced was to tell people what he was going to do about the 9/11 attacks. His journey to presidency was a struggle, he lost the election by 543,895 votes but they had a recount and Bush won with the electoral votes 271 to 266 (Whitehouse.gov). George Bush made a big difference in the world that we live in today. George Bush was an inspiration to all of America. 9/11 was a hardship for George W. Bush. A lot of people thought he was responsible for this tragic disaster of about 3000 deaths (Whitehouse.gov). He had to hold up on a lot of his hopes and plans (Whitehouse.gov).
