Have you ever heard of George Patton? People thought of George Patton as a very helpful, caring man. When people asked him for something he would always help them out. His goal in life was to become a hero. He accomplished his goal. Patton never put himself before others. He was third main general during World War II. George Patton was skilled at tank warfare. He always sat down and said to himself, “Success is not just how high you bounce but how high you bounce when you hit the bottom”. One main accomplishment he had was the leadership of the United States. He had also accomplished his goal of becoming a hero. He was a great role model. He had accomplished his skill of bravery also. He was an accomplished man! Patton was from San Gabriel, California. His family was originally from Virginia. His parents moved from Virginia so they could make a better living for George. He followed in his dads “footsteps”. He accomplished everything his dad did just maybe a bit more. George always tried to make his dad proud of him. Patton’s dad must have been a proud man. He had a great family. George had one son named George S. Patton IV. He had two daughters name Ruth Ellen and Beatrice Smith. His mom’s name was Ruth Wilson. Patton’s dads name was George S. Patton III. Patton had one sister named Anne Wilson. That was his only sibling. He had a younger brother but, he died at birth. His name was John S. Patton. George always said he would never forget him even though he never met him. “It was tragic to hear about my brother” Patton said.
