This was a long period of peace, accomplishment, and self confidence for Britain as they became the wealthiest nation at the time. Industrialization played a big part in the wealth and the mass production of goods during the time, but with the good came the bad. Many people moved from the countryside into the city because there was no need for the farming when things could be done faster in the factories, which became overpopulated and led to diseases. Many people also moved to the city for more economical opportunities. This was also a time where women began to have a voice in the world and had been given the rights that they deserved.
