All of my future plans build upon my passion for lifelong learning and the belief that ignorance is not an excuse for passiveness. I plan on seeking further education after my bachelor's degree at UAA in a masters program, followed by law school. I ultimately see myself working internationally with the law. I am currently interested in the study and retribution of wrongful convictions, though I am considering many different avenues when it comes to joining the workforce. As my graduation approaches, I will begin investigating the application process for both the Peace Corps Master degree programs and the Full Bright Scholarships. Studying under a Full

Education is the foundation for a well-functioning world. I would be honored to join the ranks of individuals that educate the future generation, we are all connected, and we all benefit from a world full of educated people. Second language education is especially close to my heart. More people learning more languages will bring us one step closer to a more connected world.
After my Master's degree, I will apply to law school; I want to focus on international law.
I am very aware that the global community must come together shortly with a common goal in order right many of the wrongs humanity has created. I see the law as a pathway to global communication and justice.
There are many options for me when I enter the workforce, as an educator, lawyer, human rights advocate, linguistic, or all of the above. No matter what I end up choosing my only goal set in stone is that I must do my best to help make the world a better place. Whether it be through teaching a young person a new language, exonerating someone wrongly convicted, standing up against discrimination and violence, or preserving a dying culture, I will always strive toward using my future to improve the future for
