To me, the definition of friendship is a person whom one can trust. It is a bond one creates, that can last a lifetime and it consists of difficulties and many memories. A friend gets rid of the feeling of being lonely, and that person is always there in times of hardship or happiness. However, the important part of obtaining a long lasting friendship is to start an acquaintance and to make time to understand each other. It is not as easy as it sounds, and so the question is “how does a friendship begin?”
Today, social media has made it very easy to make friends. A majority of people possess some sort of device that allows them to go online and access websites and apps. It is rare for a friendship not to go through arguments, fights, and tough circumstances. In order to avoid ruining closeness, what I do is be calm and stay patient. Fighting back can ruin the understanding between two friends and it may lead to nasty situations. Minor issues in a powerful friendship are not an alarming threat. However, how do I know if our friendship is strong enough to live long? Separation is what tells us how solid of a friendship they are partaking. Challenges arrive when two are apart for the first time. The only way is to keep the positive, strong bond going to be in contact with each other. I have to make sure, how they are doing and if they need anything. It is my job as a friend to be a part of their life even if we are not living together anymore.
Once we have survived all the hurdles and hardships together, the chances of our friendship falling apart are very slim. It takes a lot of trust, feelings, emotions, care, and love to build lifetime friends. The way one maintains it, is the way to the success of a long lasting
