In order to pursue my dream as a Forensic Psychologists I am aware that I have to put in a lot of effort and determination in to school. There are various aspects to pursuing my career such as getting good grades, volunteering in police departments, networking, and doing an immense amount of research on my field. The career I chose requires a lot of my time not only as a student but as an adult. What I mean by this is that from now on, my time is devoted in to acquiring skills and changing my persona in order to be better qualified for the my job. Throughout this road map I will talk about what is a Forensic Psychologist, what are the requirements, skills necessary, what I could do with this degree, the personality types that are best suited for this job, and what are the prospects of moving up. I will not only be in debt but also lose the most valuable resource I have which is time. So is the salary worth all this time and effort? According to Psychology expert Cherry, Kendra” most entry-level positions for those with a doctorate degree start out between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. Individuals with a bachelor 's or master 's degree generally hold the title of psychological assistant or psychological associate. Starting level salaries for these positions generally start around $35,000 or $40,000” (n.d.). Yes, to me it is worth it because it is something that I am extremely passionate about. This also means I will have to move to a bigger populated city in order to find a decent paying job. My main goal is to be one of the best Forensic Psychologist in my field, and I know finding a job is going to be hard and a high salary is not guaranteed but as striving to reach my goal with my determination and competitiveness it will be worth
