Food Label Analysis: 1. Nutrition Facts: The label dictates that 1 four-piece bar is the serving size which does make sense as the candy is designed to be eaten in one sitting. That and storing it would be very difficult especially with the wrapping it has. The candy bar also has 220 calories, 100 of those coming from fat meaning 110 come from other ingredients in the candy bar. 2. Total Fat: The total fat that is listed on the food label is not the total amount of trans fats and saturated fats listed. This possibly means that there are other fats that are not saturated or trans fats in the candy bar. 3. Sodium and Total Carbohydrates: The total amount of each that is present in the candy bar, beside them is percent daily value that the kit kat contains for each. 4. …show more content…

Cholesterol and Dietary Fiber: Like sodium and total carbohydrates, it shows the amount of cholesterol and dirty fiber present in the candy bar along with percent daily value. Unlike the other two though these seem to be an estimation as the amount listed seems to be the max it may contain. 5. Sugar: The amount of sugar the product has in it, but does not list the percent daily value as there is no actual percent daily value. Instead we must limit our intake of sugar, it also doesn’t list the types of sugars present in the product. 6. Protein: The mount of protein present in the product. 7. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, and Iron: The amount of micronutrients present in the product, it is measured with the percent daily value of each that is present in the product. It does not list all possible micronutrients that may be present in a product. It also lists micronutrient that are absent in it. Ingredients 1) Sugar: A simple carbohydrates that may be any of the simple sugars. The body uses it as a source of energy, but if not used by the body or if too much is eaten it is stored throughout the body as
