Family Relationships In The Fences Story

In both stories, it is evident that the authors emphasized the effect of family relationship, which is either how a child can be affected by the decision of his or her parents, or how parents can literally influence the success of a child. Therefore, with that in mind, it is equally important to note that this essay will elaborate the family relationships by comparing and contrasting the two stories.
To start with, in the two stories it is clear that a sense of parenting has been outlined perfectly. Evaluating the first story, “fences” it is wise to agree that Troy as his father endured the responsibility of providing for his family he has followed the suit. He departed from his family, which is being under his father; only to be crowned a sense of fatherly responsibility too, since time was ripe for him to carry that across. On the other hand, mama is seen to bear the burden of protecting her children, and she is happy to receive her daughter Dee, who is now successful from the basis of her education geared by her mother. Mama, as she sits in the yard waiting for her daughter Dee to arrive, she remembers how she carried Maggie in her arms, from a blazing house in the effort to rescue her. With this, it is clear that the two stories portray a sense of parenting.
In both cases, inferiority by race in family regarding parent and children is evident. According to the fences story which revolves around baseball, it is of importance to note that, the narrators portrays the fact that Toy is a good hitter, better than many white players. In summary, the two stories have several importances on the literal life of the people. First, they have a positive touch on the family, basically the relationship between parents and their children. Secondly, the story also revolves around tradition and culture. According to the authors, they assert that culture and tradition has a major influence on any given society. Arguably, the culture is not all that can propel one to his or her bright destination in life, on contrary, culture cannot pin one down to form a huddle to the anticipated life target when the will is positive. In fences, the major narration is built on the hopelessness of the characters while when it comes to everyday use; one can clearly see a path for hope pertaining all the party. The above themes are clearly brought out for the benefit of the readers.
